Jewels Green is a regretful and repentant post-abortive woman, former abortion clinic worker, and stay-at-home mother of three who converted to the pro-life worldview and is now an ardent and vocal human rights advocate in full support of the right-to-life from conception to natural death. She is a high school dropout who went on to earn a Master’s degree in applied psychology. Her blog can be found at JewelsGreen.com.
Barbara Lyons was the Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life for 27 years. After retiring in 2014, she became the Coalitions Director for the Patients Rights Action Fund, working to defeat numerous bills in the state legislature which sought to legalize assisted suicide, and to promote excellent palliative care. Barbara has served on several local and national councils and boards, further allowing her to influence her community with her vast knowledge of pro-life issues.
Dr. Kathleen Schmainda
Kathleen M. Schmainda, PhD is a Medical Engineer and Scientist with over 20 years of experience. She received a BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University, a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as well as a Ph.D. in Medical Engineering from both MIT and Harvard University. Dr. Schmainda conducts brain cancer research and has served on numerous National Institutes of Health grant review panels, and has served on several national advisory boards for imaging and clinical trials.
Dr. Tara Sander Lee
Tara Sander Lee, PhD is a Scientist with over 15 years of experience in academic medicine, with an emphasis on genetic diagnosis and childhood disease. She obtained a Bachelor of Science from Beloit College, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and research fellowship training at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital. She is an Associate Scholar for the Charlotte Lozier Institute and has provided expert legislative testimony in Minnesota, Texas, and Wisconsin. She has served as a molecular pathology inspector for the College of American Pathologists and scientific consultant for various entities within the community, including TAI Diagnostics and the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner. She is published in numerous medical journals and text books, and has received several awards including Milwaukee Business Journal’s Forty under 40 Award.
Paul Shirek lives in Mauston, WI, with his wife Doreen. They have been married since 1982 and have four children and 14 grandchildren. Paul has served since 1985 as Senior Pastor of Faith Christian Church which he and Doreen founded. He holds a Doctorate of Sacred studies as well as a Masters of Theology from Christian Life School of Theology in Columbus GA. He is also a 1980 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK. He has worked with other leaders to form the Northern Christian Alliance which is an interfaith effort to pray for Wisconsin and help bring reformation to our society. He has served for several years on the board of directors of Wisconsin Right to Life. His wife Doreen is the Chapter Director for Wisconsin Right to Life.
